Pokemon Garbage Green - Elite Four Lance
Pokemon Garbage Green - Elite Four Lance
Changes
1. Items are not usable in battle.
a. Held items, like berries, and items in the PokéBall pocket work as normal
2. The vast majority of healing items have been removed to enforce HP and PP
management through gauntlets of trainers.
a. Potions, status healing items, PP healing items are all entirely removed
i. Full Restores are sold at the Elite 4 Mart so you can heal between Elite 4
members
ii. An Elixir is held by an in-game trade.
b. Berries remain scattered around the map but are highly limited. Berry Forest
regenerating berries are removed.
c. Both Leftovers have also been removed.
3. Shift mode as an option has been removed.
a. All players will play on set mode.
4. Level caps are enforced. There are two kinds of level caps.
a. Experience Caps: The player’s Pokémon will stop gaining experience at a level of
the next Gym Leader’s highest levelled Pokémon plus one.
i. This is so the player can have their Pokémon level up mid-fight in a
hardcore nuzlocke but are still motivated to manage exp and not exceed
the level cap.
b. Rare Candy Caps: Rare Candies are sold at every Pokémart for $1 to cut down on
the grinding. Candy Caps are imposed at the level of the next Gym Leader’s
highest levelled Pokémon.
c. Koga’s highest leveled Pokémon, Weezing, has been lowered to 39 to allow for
exp management between his and Sabrina’s fights.
d. The Elite 4 level cap is set at Lance’s highest levelled Pokémon and is lifted when
you challenge Lorelei.
5. Evolutions for many Pokémon have been delayed or disabled entirely.
6. Many powerful moves have had their PP nerfed, preventing the player from
sweeping through the game with overpowered moves.
a. All setup moves have been nerfed to 1 PP to prevent the player setup sweeping.
b. Many recovery moves have had their PP nerfed.
7. A couple of moves have had their BP or capabilities changed.
a. Surf has been nerfed to 20 BP and Strength to 30 BP.
i. Nature Power calls opponent’s unnerfed Surf.
ii. Thief and Covet no longer steal held items, to prevent incentivizing thief
farming. Big Mushrooms are limited and around the map.
b. Sketch can no longer copy Baton Pass. This follows the same logic present in
Gen 3 competitive single battles.
