Arnab Goswami’s Questions For TCS As It Sits On A Ticking Radicalisation Time Bomb

Nida Khan, the accused in the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Nashik BPO sexual harassment and religious compulsion case, was denied temporary release from custody by a Nashik court on Monday. Khan had requested anticipatory release, claiming that the accusations against her were restricted to specific statements she allegedly made in one instance and that she was pregnant. On April 27, her request for anticipatory bail will now be heard. She is the sole defendant who has not yet been taken into custody. The Khan, who was included as an accused in the initial FIR filed in the case, has been sought by the Nashik police. In the TCS Nashik case, which has nine FIRs filed against eight accused on allegations ranging from rape and sexual harassment to offending religious sensibilities, Khan is one of two women charged. She is accused of making derogatory comments about Hindu gods.
