P1121 Toyota Prius 2004-2009 (2005 2006 2007 2008) all the same. I keep calling the valve a "pump" everytime you hear pump just think valve.

This mostly happens on 2004-07 Prius Gen 2. Toyota issued a TSB (technical service bulletin) which means that the problem happened enough they were alerting their technicians about it--

Please DO NOT try to save money buying the Dorman replacement. They aren't even that much cheaper and if you go on eBay someone will be seeing an OEM dealership part for much less (try calling your nearby dealerships and haggling once you know the price on eBay). I paid like $84 out the door at Jimmy Vassar Toyota in Napa, if you just called and got a price you would pay $120-130.

It is a great time to replace your engine coolant with Toyota SLLC (expensive) or Zerek Asian Red/Pink SLLC coolant. Either works.

A copied version of techstream will make the bleeding process much easier. Tons of videos and info are online about techstream. You will need a PC, an adapter, and the software.
