ERASMUS scholarship in Germany

I received €350/month as an Erasmus scholarship while studying in Germany 🇩🇪

During my Master’s at ESCP, I went on an exchange semester to HHL Leipzig and that’s how I became eligible for Erasmus funding.

If you’re an Indian student, you don’t “directly” apply for Erasmus in most cases.

It usually works through your university.

If your college has exchange partnerships with European universities, you can apply for a semester abroad and if selected, you may get an Erasmus grant.

Basic eligibility:
• You need to be enrolled in a university that has Erasmus exchange agreements
• Get selected for an exchange program in Europe
• Maintain a decent academic profile (requirements vary by school)

And yes, there are rules:
• You typically receive funding only for the exchange duration
• The amount depends on the country you go to
• You still need to manage some of your expenses separately
