About the Film

Released in 1999 and directed by Sidney Lumet, Gloria is a remake of the 1980 John Cassavetes crime drama. The film stars Sharon Stone as Gloria, a former mob associate forced to protect a young boy targeted by gangsters after his family is murdered.

While the original has become a cult classic, Lumet’s remake remains divisive, offering a more polished but still fascinating take on the material.
