Can a Cheap Dell Optiplex 3010 Run Crysis? | Budget Windows XP Gaming PC Build

🖥️ In this video I turn a cheap Dell Optiplex 3010 from 2013 into a budget Windows XP retro gaming PC. After cleaning it up and installing a slim NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 graphics card, I install Windows XP and benchmark classic XP-era games to see what kind of performance you can realistically expect from this affordable setup.

🎮 Games Tested:
• Warcraft 3
• Need for Speed Most Wanted
• Call of Juarez
• Unreal Tournament 2004
• Far Cry
• Quake 4
• Crysis

Surprisingly, even Crysis is playable at 1024x768 with framerates in the 40s — proving you don’t need rare or expensive retro hardware to enjoy classic PC gaming.

If you’re looking to build a cheap Windows XP gaming PC in 2026, this might be the perfect starting point.
