SK GLOBAL HOUSE DORM TOUR + Tips On How to Get There & More | heyytheredalila

Hi guys! So I finally uploaded my SK Global Dorm Tour/Korean Dorm Tour! :D
So I studied in Seoul, South Korea for the fall 2017 (so from late August to Late December), and I attended Yonsei University through an exchange/study abroad program and lived in a double room at SK Global House. I decided to make this video for those who are curious on how the dorms look like since personally I would always search for dorm tours too, lol

Things I discussed at the end of the video:

1. Price of dorm
❐ For the fall 2017 semester I paid 1,785,000KRW = $1672.90 USD for a double room, so I had a roommate
(keep in mind that I studied abroad through an affiliate program since my school didn't have a direct exchange program so I paid directly to Yonsei and not to my home university or the affiliate).
2. How to Get to Dorms (Four Transportation Methods)
❐ By airport limousine bus (price: 10,000KRW = about $10 USD)
❐ By airport van service (price 70,000KRW-85,000KRW = about $70-$85 USD)
❐ By taxi (price: it can range from 40,000KRW-85,000KRW = about $40-$85 USD)
❐ By subway: (cheapest method.. price: i think it's about 6,000KRW = $6 USD)

3. Things you get in SK Global
❐ Wifi
❐ Bedding (not the best, but you can get some at Homeplus)
❐ Each floor has a a study room at the end of the halls

4. Things to Remember about SK Global House
❐ You can't put stuff on wall unless it's with sticky tack that doesn't damage the wall, but ask just in case.
❐ You must separate your trash!
❐ You can't go to the opposite sex's floor & if you get caught you get penalty points of some sort
❐ They have a weird point system, but in all dorms there's a handbook of sorts so if you want to know more about that and also with instructions on how to set up ethernet, it's all in that handbook.
❐ THERE IS NO SHOWER DOOR! There's the regular glass shower door, but there is no door that separates the sink/shower area from the rest of the room, but a solution is to go to Daiso and buy compression rods and shower curtains like my roommate and I did. The most you'll spend is 3,000KRW or $3 USD, so it's not that bad.
❐ You can buy adapters @ Daiso or the convenience store on the B2 level or at the university's bookstore.

4. Overview of SK Floors
❐ B4 (I think there's a 4th basement, lol): Parking lot
❐ B3 (3rd Basement): where the community kitchen is and where you throw your trash away.
❐ B2 (2nd basement): Female floor, lobby, laundry rooms, computer lab, mini gym, housing office, convenience store, and small restaurants/phone store
❐ B1 (1st basement): female dorm floor
❐ 1-3 (floors 1-3): male dorm floors I think
❐ 4-7 (floors 4-7): female dorm floors
