Making Cents of the Market | WEBINAR - February 22, 2022 - Lance Zimmerman

Hear from CattleFax’s own Lance Zimmerman, director of research and protein market analysis, on what the market has in store for cattlemen and women in 2022. Zimmerman will discuss the cattle, beef and protein markets, demand trends, influences and provide a long-term market outlook.

Lance Zimmerman was raised on a diversified crop and commercial cow-calf and backgrounding farm in northwest Kansas. After graduating from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications and journalism, Lance worked for five years as a marketing manager for Certified Angus Beef, LLC. He then earned a master’s degree in agricultural economics from K-State in December 2010. Lance’s primary responsibility is managing the CattleFax member database, as well as coordinating the organization’s fundamental research and analysis for the cattle and competing protein markets. Lance and his wife, Andria, live in St. George, KS., with their children, Lawson and Macie. He enjoys helping on the family farming operation, showing his children the world, hunting, and working on vehicle and home improvements projects.
