OpenAI says 2 devices were hit in npm attack

OpenAI says two employee devices were hit in the TanStack npm malware attack known as Mini Shai-Hulud. The company says it found no evidence that customer data or products were compromised, but some limited credential material was exfiltrated from a small set of internal code repositories.

OpenAI is now rotating code-signing certificates and warning macOS users to update their apps before June 12.
