Ballad of a Soldier, or "Баллада о солдате" in Russian, is a Soviet song that was made in the late 1950's and commemorates the soldiers of the Great Patriotic War. As an instrumental, it serves as one of the many marches that were used in the Victory Day Parades during the Soviet era, and it is still used in the Victory Day Parades in the Russian Federation. In the Crimson Dawn universe, the song still serves the same purpose under the New USSR.
