My mental health journey: Lucy Raemers's brother's skateboard
Lucy Raemers shares how neglect impacted on her and her brother, Ben Raemers. Ben, a professional skateboarder, took his life in 2019. Lucy discusses how this has impacted her mental health and how this experience inspired her to help others.
Londoners were invited to share objects that represent their own mental health journey as part of the exhibition ‘George III: The Mind Behind the Myth’ at Kew Palace. This display of 10 objects aims to inspire thought, discussion and reflection on how we think and talk about mental health today.
