The Dragonfly: Part II Youth, Act 10, Shaftesbury Avenue

Georgina’s talent as an actress is soon rewarded when she lands the part in a new West End production. Despite being a prestigious show her role requires graphic non simulated sex. At first extremely nervous Georgina soon gains confidence and becomes the star of the show. Before long she has also embarked on a passionate affair with the show’s flamboyant director, Gerard Dupont.
Everything is going wonderfully until Georgina’s stage persona starts encroaching on her real life romance and she discovers that sex with Gerard only gets going when in her imagination she is back on stage being made love to by the lead actor under the eager gaze of her adulatory audience. Things start becoming strained after Gerard suspects that he may not be the only thing on her mind. Eventually unable to cope with his mounting jealousy and insecurity, Gerard persuades Georgina that they should both pull out of the show.
