DIY-CHEESE & CARAMEL POPCORN

Here's a simple recipe to make caramel, cheese, and hot (spicy) popcorn at home:

### Ingredients:

**For Caramel Popcorn:**
- 10 cups of popped popcorn
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1/4 cup corn syrup (light or dark)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

**For Cheese Popcorn:**
- 10 cups of popped popcorn
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese powder

**For Hot (Spicy) Popcorn:**
- 10 cups of popped popcorn
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt to taste

### Instructions:

#### 1. **Caramel Popcorn:**
- **Prep:** Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- **Caramel Sauce:** In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, then let it boil for 4-5 minutes without stirring.
- **Finish Caramel:** Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla extract. The mixture will bubble up.
- **Coat Popcorn:** Pour the caramel sauce over your popped popcorn in a large bowl, and stir to coat evenly.
- **Bake:** Spread the coated popcorn on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let it cool.

#### 2. **Cheese Popcorn:**
- **Coat Popcorn:** Pour the melted butter over the popped popcorn and toss to coat.
- **Add Cheese Powder:** Sprinkle cheddar cheese powder over the popcorn while tossing to ensure an even coating.

#### 3. **Hot (Spicy) Popcorn:**
- **Coat Popcorn:** Pour the melted butter over the popped popcorn and toss to coat.
- **Add Spices:** Mix the paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and salt together. Sprinkle this spice mixture over the popcorn, tossing to coat evenly.
