Air traffic controller is a job many people know about, but few understand. What do they do? How do I get hired? Is it stressful? What are the qualifications? The FAA will be hiring air traffic controllers again beginning January 2020. Apply at http://www.usajobs.gov once the bid goes live on January 24, 2020, with open bids occurring later this year. Over the years, I have gotten literally thousands of questions pertaining to the position of ATC and others like it in the aviation industry, and in this short video, I hope to summarize some of the very basics involved with understanding how the whole thing works. My name is David Lombardo, perhaps best known as the former face of ATC Memes. I have a deep passion for aviation, music/audio, video, building relationships, learning, and encouraging people to share their own unique stories! I attended Purdue University and majored in
