Through the conversion of former manufacturing spaces in this once industrial center in Wisconsin, Diane Hendricks is making Beloit a destination for tech start-ups, including Irontek, a tech incubator space housed in a former foundry. The focus is to bring new business to the area as opposed to bringing factory jobs back to the area, which has also revitalized the town's downtown.
