Cooperage is an ancient art that has perfected the crafting of casks over centuries. Originally designed for wine transportation, it was soon discovered that the wood imparted a unique flavor during the aging process.

At Bodegas Lustau, our coopers work tirelessly to maintain, repair, and extend the lifespan of each cask as much as possible, becoming true caretakers of these very old vessels.
