Used Manfrotto 7301YB head stability

I picked up a second-hand Manfrotto tripod today.
The funny thing was that some movements weren't exactly smoooth and when the head was disassembled, the internals show a bit of wear and tear. But the best part about this trpod is its landscape/portrait switching mode - no real need for releasing the screw, just take it and turn... A quick look tells me I could fix that by cleaning the brushings, will see how that works.
