Getting out of Tokyo for a day trip is sooo worth it, especially if you don't have much time in your itinerary to go to a farther out stop! Hakone is considered one of the classic daytrip options from Tokyo, not just for foreign tourists, but also for Japanese people who live here 🤗

I've been a few times over the years, but this was hands down the best organized trip I've ever been on there (lol) and we also got really lucky with the weather!
