How to manage trust relationships between enterprise applications in a zero trust architecture

Trust is complicated. When an outside enterprise is trusted by a sub enterprise and uses an application that accesses the main enterprises' data, things get weird. However, this can be managed by using zero trust to segment out which data can be accessed by the outside organization using meta data tagging and micro segmentation.
