This is the first lesson in a short 3 part series dedicated to Tapping for Bass Guitar.
The series is broken into three parts of linear tapping, piano style tapping and contrapuntal style.

This lesson deals with tapping in the stereotypical Eddie Van Halen or Billy sheehan style. I work through the basics of the technique starting with hammerons and pulloffs and then move onto hammering with the picking hand.

The exercises work through basic triad arpeggios then move onto runs up and down a scale and finally the trill tapping Billy Sheehan uses in the song "Addicted To That Rush" (Mr Big).
