HOW I AVOID BUNCHING: Washing DIY Microlocs| MIMI ABDUL

I have detailed my wash day for you and shown how I avoid bunching. Bunching might be an inevitable part of the locking process but it doesn't have to be a part of yours!

Bunching commonly happens with sisterlocks, microlocs and traditional locs whilst they are in their baby phase, this can be caused by too much or too little tension when rerightening or on initial installation if the loc has not been formed in a uniform manner throughout . In addition and more often, the vigorous movement of hair strands during wash day contribute to bunching of the loc.

I have been able to avoid and prevent bunching with the method shown in this video, overall it's important to pay attention to all of your locs on a regular basis no matter how many you have!
