THE TWIST (Norways Art Bridge)

Welcome to Norways Art Bridge “THE TWIST”

This is the famous danish architect Bjarke Ingels and his architect firm (BIG) first major design in Norway designed back in 2019 and it’s a spectacular one.

The bridge crosses over the Randselva river and spans 60m in length and altogether the twisting exhibition space within is 1000 square metres

Created within Kistefos Museum (an older factory museum) and part of a wider project including Kistefos sculpture park, the TWIST is a bridge with a difference

Designed in many facets combining a bridge, the museum within and a type of sculpture it combines to form an ART BRIDGE

The TWIST and Kistefos Museum & sculpture park are just over an hours drive from Oslo, Norways capital

Be sure to check out the sculpture park as well with sculptures from famous international artists such as Olafur Eliasson & Anish Kapoor
