Fatal gondola accident during strong winds in the Swiss Alps

A 61-year-old woman was killed after the gondola she was in fell from its line during gale-force winds at the Engelberg-Titlis ski resort in the Swiss Alps. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the tragic incident.
