Laura Biagiotti, born in Rome on August 4, 1943, was dubbed the "Queen of Cashmere" by the New York Times and was one of the few female stylists to drive Made in Italy to worldwide market dominance.

Biagiotti was also the first Italian fashion brand to present in China, with 30 models and 150 gowns, on April 25, 1988, in Beijing.

With her flair, she was once again the first to pass the threshold of the Great Kremlin Theatre in Moscow, at the former headquarters of the Pcus.

Her career began in the 1960s, when she began to cooperate with the major names in Italian fashion, following in the footsteps of her mother, Delia Soldaini Biagiotti, who founded an atelier.
