Welcome to Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky. Today's video will be a short one but will feature one of the more beautiful gravesites here at this cemetery. Harry Leon Collins was a magician and spokeperson for Frito-Lay.
Harry Leon Collins was a World War II hero. While in the army, he performed his magic act as part of jazz bandleader Bob Crosby's show for military troops. In 1952, he began doing magic tricks as part of promotional campaigns for Frito-Lay, a job that lasted him 45 years. He toured the nation, hawking potato chips and Fritos, doing television commercials, making appearances at supermarkets, conventions, fairs, schools, etc.
