Parallel to our reality, there exists a realm known as The Palace, a manifestation of every human's heart. Initially, The Palace encompassed humanity's hopes and dreams, but soon the ambitions of adult authority figures corrupted both the Palace and the real world. Thankfully, people with high spiritual sensitivity can discover the Velvet Room, an otherworldly prison where the warden, Igor, and his assistants, Caroline and Justine, can teach you to use Personas to fight for your freedom.

Personas represent a person's inner self strengthened by their resolve, but to reveal their powerful Personas, a person must painfully rip off the mask that society has forced them to wear. Armed with a Metaverse Navigator App on their P.A.D.S., Persona users can then track down Palaces to steal the hearts of corrupt adults and stem their influence in the real world. Unfortunately, Shadows, or corrupted Personas protect these treasures from do-gooding Persona users like you.

You are a new student at Tokyo's Shujin Academy. When a classmate is abused by the school gym teacher, you'll gather your own group of Persona users,The Phantom Thieves of Hearts. Together you'll visit the Velvet Room, fight through shadow-infested Palaces, and get a part-time job, all to save the world from evil adults.
