Filming location for the Lord of the Rings Rivendell Scenes. The Rivendell scenes were filmed in the Kaitoke Regional Park, in about the year 2000. Large sets were constructed in the native New Zealand forest, and were removed after filming. This is a walk-though of what remains of the filmset.

This walk-through of the Rivendell filming location ,was filmed in 2015 on location in the Kaitoke Regional Park. Historic Lord of the Rings set construction photos were shot during the construction of the Rivendell Film Set in 2000.

The quality of the video isn't as good as it could be, as it was shot using a mobile phone camera.
