You can see so many of these majestic creatures in the wild in the Atacama Desert. One of the best places to spot them is in Laguna Chaxa but they're pretty much anywhere around the salt lagoons. You'll see them hanging out, looking for food (brine shrimp), flying, and taking a nap on one feet. It's quite the sight to see!
