The Temperature blinks red and there is a beeping alarm too, 3 long beeps.
Seeing the coolant temperature RED warning while driving can be easy to fix
but it can also be a big problem.
Learn how to figure it out if your engine is failing or if it's a simple fix and if it's safe or not to drive home.

Showing this on my Volkswagen Polo 9N but this can be used on any car.

If this doesn't make the temp light go away, check the resistance between the coolant expansion tank sensor terminals.
You might have to replace the coolant expansion tank and it's a good idea to flush and replace the coolant too while doing this.
