Little Nightmares 1&2 PS4 Review

Here is a list of the two Little Nightmares Games for the PS4:
1. Little Nightmares (2017)
2. Little Nightmares II (2021)

Little Nightmares are athmospheric games. They aren’t horror games like the classic hide from monsters, run for your life and pull levers to solve puzzles. Instead of jump scares and running for your life, Little Nightmares focuses on the athmopshere before the chases. It’s creepy. It makes you feel uneasy, and it also makes you feel safe. Little Nightmares is a chain of puzzles to solve, and in those puzzles you start feeling safe. The games still are creepy, but in during puzzles, even if visuals and sounds continue to be creepy, you also feel safe.
As difference between the two is that in the second game you play as a different character, Mono. And the character from the first game, Six, is you companion and helps you solve puzzles. Another addition is that Mono can pick up weapons to defend himself or to solve puzzles.
Overall, the games are good objectively. They are athmospheric, artistic, and good looking, but personally, I found them boring. The safe sensation, and constant puzzles made it less of a horror game, and more of a creepy game, that gets repetitive once you grasp the game mechanics. But this is just my own opinion. The general consensus regards the games are being very good.
