Thorpe v Phelps: Titan's Clash (With race Video's - 200IM 2003 + 'Race of the Century)

This video is about the two clashes heavyweight swimming titans Michael Phelps and Ian Thorpe had in 2003 and 2004.
At the time in 2003 Ian Thorpe was considered the greatest swimmer on the planet and arguably off all time, Michael Phelps had other idea's at the 2003 Barcelona World Champs setting World Records in the 100/200Fly (Although Ian Crocker would re-break MP's 100m record in the final) and 200/400IM.
This video shows there duel in the 200IM, with Michael taking the win by over 5m and gave the world a glimpse at what the GOAT of swimming would become.
The second race was dubbed the 'Race of the Century' this took place at the 2004 Athens Olympics and also featured Pieter van den Hoogenband (Double 100m Freestyle Olympic Champ and Current 100m WR holder at time) and fellow ussie Grant Hackett (Double Olympic Champ 1500Free and former World record holder 200/1500Free).
The race would be the last time we saw Thorpe and Phelps head to head, with Ian winning and Michael settling for Bronze behind Hoogenband.
This race would set Phelps on a near three year journey to Melbourne 2007 were something magical would happen...
