This is a video from a planned 6 day off trail adventure backpacking trip in Utah´s San Rafael Swell, doing Steve Allens Muddy Creek route from Canyoneering 2. We start from Tomsich Butte and go down the Chute of Muddy Creek, some of the best Narrows out there. The loop includes Mud Canyon, Behind the Reef road, Cistern Canyon and Chimney Canyon. We experience some drama because of the heat. We make it out of the San Rafael Swell a day before the tragic flash floods in Little Wild Horse Canyon, my heart goes out to the people who experienced this tragedy, and to all the people participating in the search and rescue operations.
