Oscar Pistorius was released from Pretoria’s Atteridgeville Correctional Centre on Friday. It comes nearly 11 years after he murdered his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, on Valentine’s day in 2013.
In a statement, Reeva Steenkamp’s mother, June, says her only desire is that she will be allowed to live my last years in peace, with her focus remaining on the Reeva Steenkamp Foundation.
