Opportunity Rover Completes a Marathon on Mars with our Team’s Help
Chris Voorhees, VP of Spacecraft Development here at Planetary Resources, recounts his experience working on the mobility systems of the Mars Rover Opportunity, and congratulates the Rover on completing a marathon on Mars! The Rover's original mission called for it to venture only one kilometer. But it has far surpassed the team's estimates of its mission longevity and distance traveled, with this amazing milestone!
