He didn't have to die, or bear the shame of all my sin that killed him. He didn't have to pay the price upon the tree. That should have been me. He didn't have to be betrayed into the hands of sinners like me. He didn't have to lay his life down. Death couldn't hold him. He raised again. Declare his power, declare his glory. All the Earth, All the Earth. Declare his power, declare his mercy. He saved me, He saved me. Death had entangled me, and brought me to the brink of insanity. Deep in an endless sea, sinking beneath the depths of dark misery. A light did appear to me, beyond the shadows of the cemetery. The King of the Angels rescued me.
