Welcome back to Dubai! Today we are taking you on a BIG STREET FOOD TOUR in DUBAI, UAE!!! We are showing you some of the most authentic, traditional and delicious food you can get in Dubai, and where to find them!

For breakfast, we had Rgag which is an Iranian pancake that became a popular street food in Dubai. You can order different fillings, and we ordered Chips Omani and Eggs with Cheese. Each rgag is made fresh to order. We also ordered dango, which is a simple dish of boiled chickpeas in a light broth. The broth was the water the chickpeas were boiled in, mixed with spicy chilies and lemon juice. It was filling and tasted good! These street foods are extremely affordable in Dubai.

Next up, we tried an authentic South Indian feast at a local restaurant. We ordered their famous BEEF FRY with paratha, as well as their Kerala meal which included a fish curry, sambar, chutneys, and achar. Every meal is served with a massive portion of rice and curry. Super delicious!

Over near Old Dubai is Dubai Creek and one of the best ways to see and cross the creek is to take a traditional boat ferry called an Abra. It will only cost you 1 AED to cross and it takes you close to the Dubai Gold Souk (from Bur Dubai Abra Station to Deira Old Souk Abra Station). The Gold Souk has every piece of gold imaginable and is one of the BEST places in the world to shop for gold. On the other side of the creek, we stopped at a small stall to drink Karak Chai, which is a strong black tea with milk, ginger, cinnamon and cardamon. We loved it so much, we ordered two and enjoyed the view.

For dinner, we visited an INSTITUTION in Dubai for more Iranian cuisine. This time for Iranian kebabs at Al Ustad. We ordered their “Mix 1” which comes with mutton marinated in yogurt, chicken marinated in yogurt and shish kebabs. We also ordered their rice with saffron and butter on the side. The food was delicious and the restaurant was packed with locals! Don’t forget to eat with your fork and knife!
