The Farmers Protest has completed one month. Since November 26, Farmers have been camping on the borders of Delhi in a bone-chilling cold. With the participation of Lakhs of farmers, this is possibly the first large scale protest that the six years of Modi govt has seen. However, like most other protests, mainstream media channels have been blindsiding the protest by labelling it as Khalistani motivates, Foreign hand, provoked by opposition etc. In this episode of the Editorial, our Managing Editor Mr Sujit Nair speaks to senior Journalist Neeta Kolhatkar about the role of Media in covering the protest and the distrust among farmers for Mainstream media.
