Part 2...With machinery limited, and pine trees in abundance, the Honduran worker skills amaze us at what they can do with limited tooling. be sure to watch Pt 1 of this video set. After the "cut" I personally took the rough lumber to a milling machine, and was amazed at the accuracy and consistency of his craft. We saw him cut 1x12", 2x4's and what ever was needed. All with amazing tolerances and precision. The dying pine trees that surround the Pane Honduras area, provide "unlimited" lumber resources for new construction and the economy. But processing that lumber is where this craft takes over.
