A Bowl A Day | Ramadan series by Kitchen Tales

Last year, right before Ramadan, I found myself in a place I think a lot of moms can relate to—I wasn’t struggling, but I wasn’t exactly me either. I had just had my third baby, my energy was off, and I felt a little lost when it came to food.

I knew I wanted to feel good during Ramadan. Not sluggish, not bloated, not in the cycle of over-eating after Iftar and crashing right after. So, I decided to keep it simple: one nourishing bowl every day.

Not a diet. Not a restriction. Just a bowl filled with everything my body needed—protein, fiber, healthy fats, good carbs, all the flavors I love—without the sugar spikes or post-Iftar crashes. It made such a difference that by the end of the month, I felt lighter, stronger, and more in tune with my body.

So this year, I’m bringing A Bowl A Day back to you. 💛 Every day, I’ll be sharing a nourishing bowl that’s packed with goodness—things I love to eat, things that fuel my body, and things that make Ramadan feel amazing. Because when you eat well, you feel well. And that’s the energy we need this Ramadan.
