The 2020 Peugeot Partner Van - A Legend in its Own Right! | Kevin Egan Cars Reviews

Quite literally a legend in it's own right, the Peugeot Partner Van has been a stall-worth in the Light Commercial Vehicles sector for over 20 years.

In this video we take the Peugeot Partner Active Plus model with Grip Control for test drive. We also compare Active Plus model with my very own Professional Plus Model, to showcase the varying features between models.

Although these can be difficult to source, the Active Plus Model comes with a Bluetooth radio and air conditioning as standard, and during our test drive, we felt the steering was much softer than on the Professional Plus model. The Grip Control features on this Active Plus Model include higher ground clearance and 4 grip control modes that provide unrivaled traction no matter what challenging terrain you encounter. From a safety aspect, the Grip Control Model also comes with a Sump Guard to protect the underside from intrusion of any unwanted obstacles. As s whole, the 2020 Peugeot Partner Active Plus Model is just as comfortable as any Partner van, with 3 front seats and cruise control, and who can argue with comfort. The only minor drawbacks that we found with Active Plus model is the fact that it included only a single sliding door in the rear, while for those of you who enjoy streaming music from your phone through Apple Car Play on long journeys, won't be able to as it has limited technology in the cab.

Farmers, Builders, Plumbers, Electricians, Surveyors, Forestry and quite literally anyone who needs to take their van off road or across rugged terrain.

Peugeot Partner Professional Plus
The Professional Plus version includes the full spec with a host of upgraded features in comparison with the Active Plus Model. In the cab, the same features you would expect from a Peugeot Partner come as standard. However the full spec Professional Plus Model, comes with Touch Screen Radio and Dash, Audio Steering wheel and rear reversing camera. Why does it need a reversing camera you might ask? Well the Professional Plus Model also hosts a bulk head for added protection from sliding loads.

Anyone in need of a Partner Van for longer journeys, where the added comfort will be of great benefit.

All in all, the Peugeot Partner Van remains incredibly popular accounting for 25% of our sales since taking on the dealership, despite my apprehension about selling vans. The new Partner Van offers an incredible amount of choices and specs, from Long and Short Wheel Bases to the Active and Professional Plus models which we've covered in this video.
