LIVE: Testing OpenClaw Plugins (Lobster)
Today we went deep into Hermes dashboard hidden features, OpenClaw chat issues, local AI agent workflows, and the messy reality of building live.
This started as a stream about testing OpenClaw plugins, but we took a very useful detour after finding something slick inside Hermes: a dashboard chat/TUI experience that is built in, but not obvious until you ask for it. I walked through how it showed up on a fresh Windows WSL install, why it made me rethink parts of Product OS, and how it could turn into a simple “copy me” video for anyone building with Hermes.
We also looked at the Clearmud partner portal flow, the Muddy OS video prop, script automation, OpenClaw websocket issues, cron-related gateway restarts, snapshot/rollback discipline, and how I think about local-only dashboards, Telegram/Discord access, VLANs, firewalls, and keeping agent systems secure.
This one is very much a build-in-public stream: real debugging, real detours, real decisions, and a few “why is this not working?” moments along the way.
