THANKS MH3! Gifts Storm Combo IS BACK! Gifts Storm is a strategy in Modern that leverages the Gifts Ungiven card to assemble a powerful combination of spells. The deck revolves around casting a sequence of instants and sorceries to generate a critical mass of mana and card draw, ultimately leading to a game-ending spell. The core idea is to get a cost-reducing creature such as Baral, Chief of Compliance on the battlefield. From there, players accelerate into casting Gifts Ungiven by playing cards like Desperate Ritual, Pyretic Ritual, and Manamorphose. The key is to have three floating mana when casting Gifts Ungiven, selecting cards like Past in Flames, Desperate Ritual, Pyretic Ritual, and Manamorphose to ensure the ability to flashback Past in Flames, allowing the player to cast their instants and sorceries again and eventually cast a lethal Grapeshot.

Featuring Ral, Monsoon Mage from Modern Horizons 3 (MTG MH3), this variant of Gifts Storm adds a new dimension to the strategy. Ral's ability to reduce costs paired with the ultimatum of the back-side drastically increases the power-level of the Storm archetype.
