공주 부여에서 저희 제재소에 올라온 450년 된 느티나무 해체 작업 영상입니다. 한국예술문화명인 소속의 충남 태안 소목장 명인 예원 유기선님께서 원목을 구입 하셔서 두께가 얇은 단판으로 제재를 하셨습니다. 나무의 속이 비어서 수율이 안나옴을 알고 그에 맞는 용도로 제재하셨습니다. 쓰임과 용도를 정하고 나무를 제재하시는 대부분의 사람들과 달리 나무의 자연적인 상태에 용도를 맞추시는 제재 방법에 역시 명인은 다름을 느낄 수 있었습니다. 반백년 한 생명을 다한 나무에게 장인의 새로운 혼을 불어넣어 주시길 바랍니다. 감사합니다.
