How China takes advantage of Israel-Hamas war | DW News

As the Israel-Gaza conflict intensifies by the day, some are asking China to use its regional influence to help ease tensions. You might remember Beijing brokered a normalization between Iran and Saudi Arabia earlier this year. It also enjoys warm relations with Iran -- a country that backs Hamas, the terrorist group that launched the recent attack against Israel. China has stated neutrality on the war, but failed to condemn Hamas as the agressor in the attack and accused Israel's response to it of being excessive. Still, China says it intends to send a peace envoy to the region.

We can now speak to Velina Tchakarova, she's a Geopolitical Strategist and Consultant based in Vienna.
