Guy Gruters, VIetnam POW: By the Grace of God
My website: www.guygruters.net for info & to book me as a motivational speaker; Book: Locked Up With God - Amazon; This section explains the first Church Service we had in North Vietnam after we were together in 45-man dungeons for the first time after three to five years in captivity. Prior to the Son Tay raid in November of 1970, we had been kept solo or with one other POW. The Son Tay Raid was, to us, the most successful raid ever in history, because it forced the North Vietnamese to put us together. Our leadership and all POWs left alive (one out of seven) agreed that we would have a Church service no matter what happened to us. This section of video explains what happened when we tried to worship. Communism hates God. Please read my new book, "Locked Up With God," available on Amazon, for real detail. I also speak professionally now on faith, family, teamwork, leadership and the POW and combat experiences for a wide variety of audiences.
