Electric Fireplace DIY Project

Built a combination faux fireplace using a Touchstones electric fireplace, Airstone, stair steps for shelves, mantel, and Samsung QLED, etc.

We bought our boxes of Airstone at Lowes along with the glue to mount them. If you don't want to travel to Lowes, I provided Amazon links above. We used a level, paper, toothpicks and anything else we could find to ensure that each row was level. The first row is crucial to making certain that it is exactly level so all other rows are easier to level.

We tried using the recommended saw to cut the Airstone but found that a cheap wet saw worked much more quickly and allowed for more custom cuts and less dust in the air.
