The Valley Railroad: National Train Day with #40

On National Train Day 2014, Train Man Productions ventured out to The Valley Railroad in Essex Connecticut to see the railroad's first regular excursions of the year. Power for the day's runs was steam locomotive #40, a ALCo built 2-8-2 mikado type. In this video we will see the train at many different spots along the line as it takes passengers along the beautiful Connecticut River Valley.
