We’ve been trying to give you a taste of the record, without giving too much away. And honestly, some of the lyrics to a lot of the songs are kinda bananas (the ones sung through the POV of some interesting characters) if you were to hear them out of context of the storyline😮).

Please welcome, the song “GRIDLOCK” (https://ButchWalker.lnk.to/gridlock). This is the song that starts the story off. This one is told through the viewpoint of our narrator of “American Love Story”, and sets the tone for a guy going back to visit his hometown, and realizing that it wasn’t all just “charming” and “simple” growing up there.

Also if you’re getting mad AM Gold/yachty/Gerry Rafferty vibes, I meant to do that.
