TUTORIAL: How to use a Mesh Stencil
Mesh Stencils are for crafting, scrapbooking, cake decorating and all other creative techniques.
Stencil on canvas, wood, furniture, pottery, glass, board, paper, fabric, t-shirts and many other mixed media surfaces.
Mesh stencils are made of mesh cloth – a food safe, flexible, light weight and durable product that you can use over and over again.
Our Mesh Stencils exemplify innovation through and through. Extremely fine detail that only The Blanc Canvas can produce. Proudly South African product… Manufactured, designed and produced by The Blanc Canvas SA!
While the acrylic stencils offer beautiful designs, the mesh stencils offer fine detail that would be impossible to achieve with the acrylic stencils. If one is looking for a quick and simple creative method – nothing is simpler. Mesh stencils are easy to use with a combination of multiple mixed medium crafts.
Made from a high industry standard mesh which allows a much higher degree of detail from our in-house, custom design studio professionals.
Simply use with any water based brand of craft or chalk paint. Liquid paints and inks need to be thickened with gel medium before using. Wash thoroughly with warm soapy water immediately after use.
Stacked artwork effects can be achieved using an assortment of colours and stencils.
Hang up to air dry and store flat. For those of us who are impatient, dry with a hair dryer.
