ICL superdual 2988 mainframes at State bank of Victoria 1988

Here is probably the only video of an ICL superdual 2900 mainframe computer installation.
I got it past the lax security at the Clayton site the morning of the official handover.
I had one of these new sony mini cameras under my arm.
Glad I did, haven't seen any 2900 mainframes on the internet so far.
The customer destroyed the whole kit by doing their own environmental monitoring, which failed.....and the room cooked all weekend.
When we opened the fire doors it had been well over 55 degrees C all weekend.
Security did their rounds? nope

A room full of FDS640, EDS80 and DRS equipment.
The configuration was 4x Superdual 2988's 16mb ram in each.
In the other room were the new range Estriels.
The whole lot was duplicated at the Spencer street site,
The salesman told them they were at risk if a terrorist bombed them, so...he sold it all twice...LOL
